Ok, yes I know it has been a bit since I blogged but the reason being is that I am working on a new blog!!! It will be much nicer I promise, but I am trying to work out the bugs right now. So stay tuned, I promise it won't be much longer.

In the meantime let me post a COMING SOON picture from Lindsey and Greg's wedding this weekend in Panama City!!! These two were just precious as were their families. Yall be patient ok? It will be worth the wait.

So baseball season is over for my little man. And he says to me....now what Mommy? Oh please!!!! He starts golf in 2 weeks, he is really into his motorcross, he has a few races coming up...(don't get me started on that one) he is going to a skateboard camp, he wants to go to day camp at PCC with his cousins, he wants to take gymnastics....and he says...NOW WHAT? Will it ever end? Someone please tell me. LOL. Thank the Lord his Daddy (my husband and knight in shinning armour) is great at taking him to everything he needs to be taken too. But can yall believe he said to me.....Now what? Ok, here he is with his trophy that he is so very proud of. Oh, while I have yall....does anyone know a GREAT piano teacher? I need suggestions.

I fell in love the moment I walked into the home of these precious angels. Their Mommy was so friendly and warm and very inviting. And so excited to have me there. That always makes my day. I really do not know where to begin. Sweet, sweet people...STUNNING, PRETTY, FABULOUS...ok, I know I say that a lot but I ALWAYS mean it. Erin and Dan were just the sweetest people and so very in love. The night was full of love for EVERYONE there. Erin is as you can see just beautiful and Dan...what a handsome man. LOL, I must have told them both that very thing a least a million times. (wink) I always love going to my weddings and seeing LOTS of past brides there. We always have so much fun. Ok, and while we are on the subject of fun. Yall did see my last post about the Tams right? Well, they were AMAZING!!! I can't wait to see the video. LOL. I was like...Holy COW those are the TAMS!!! It was like a fabulous reception/concert. Everyone had a great time!!! Thank yall so much for being so sweet and having me there. It was so my pleasure. Really is upsetting, but it seems MOST photographers sites were up and down this week. Yall may remember the BEAUTIFUL and VERY pregnant Shani about 3 years ago. Well, ever since then this fabulous family has been coming to me all the way from Nashville to have their family images made. This time they brought the whole family!! I just adore them all. I have to brag on these boys. They are now 18 months old and know all their colors....lots of words by sight, their letters, animals, shapes, sounds....Lord, I could go on and on. Grandma was or still is a teacher and they all just love these little ones to pieces. LOL, so do I. So I just had to ask how they got so smart. Well, I googled Glenn Dolman, as they told me all about him. Yall just have to do the same and see all this man has done. He started with brain damanged adults I believe and then moved on to the autistic world...of which most of yall know is VERY close to my heart. These babies can sign and speak like you and me. LOL, I even got to watch them splash around in the tub. It was just so sweet. Thanks yall for always remembering me. I have really got to get my tail to Nashville more. (wink) God Bless you all!!!

So this precious family won me. Yeap you read that right, they bid on me and won me. Neat huh? I am a little embarassed that I can't remember what fabulous charity the money went to but they sure were fun to shoot. They came all the way down from Birmingham I think for me to take some fabulous beach images of the whole family. Ofcourse I was really loving the babies. Three boys!!! So a little history. I met Lindsey and ONE of her sisters...oh 7 years ago? When I first started my business. I was in a bridal show in Gulf Breeze. My first one ever!! I was so nervous. I just can't even tell ya how nervous I was. And most of you know that I can talk pretty good right? (wink) I had hardly anything. LOL. So Lindsey's sister Courtney hired me for her wedding, I guess 6 years ago? Then Lindsey and David hired me for thier wedding, then Emily the OTHER sister hired me for hers. The only wedding I did not get to do was Jennifer's and that's because she was already married, but I have shot her kids pictures. LOL, oh and Emily's kids and now Lindsey and David's precious angel. I am waiting very patiently Courtney. (wink) These four even got ALL dressed up in their wedding dresses many years ago with thier FABULOUS Father and did a picture of them all together!!! Oh and the Grandma? SHE IS SO WONDERFUL!!! I am too old to be her daughter but we would be GREAT sisters. Right? LOL. Ok, so enough talk...on to the newest, sweetest addition!!! I love him already. Talk about a chip off the ole block.

Poor Alexis, I sure hope she is getting some attention too. LOL!

So it was not the most beautiful day we have ever had for a beach wedding, but Kelly's last words to me were..."rain or shine" LOL. And we did just that. This couple came all the way from Nashville TN to get married on Destin's fabulous beaches and that is just what happened. They were so very sweet and so easy to get along with. Ok, so it was not Christmas but for my 8 year old Hayden, it kinda was. LOL. My baby turned 8 years old today. It is so hard to imagine he is already 8!!! I mean it wasn't that long ago I could hold him and rock him to sleep. It makes ms sad. He got way to many presents and is already mad at me because I told him he had to write his thank you cards when he gets home tomorrow. Me and Daddy and brother and a few of his friends met at the skating rink today.....(oh yeah he got new skates too) and he had a great time. He said it was his bestest bday ever. Well, when you see these pictures you will see why it was so great and why Christmas comes 2 times a year when you are 8!!! Happy Birthday to my baby Hayden!!!

I sure got your attention huh? These two little ones were so beautiful!!! We had lots of fun on a VERY windy day in the park. They were so good and just too funny. G, has a modeling career ahead of her I do believe. She was loving the camera. I mean really, I never posed her not once, she just kept moving around giving me the eye and posing away. It was too cute. And my little B....he is full of life and ALL boy!!! Climbing trees........rolling on the ground....doing flips....he was GREAT!!!! They both were. Yeap, that's right Take 3!!! I went out with Whitney and J.R. to capture some "AFTER" images today. We never got to do engagement images and I was dying to take MORE images of them so we met at the beach today for some fun stuff. These two are so cute I could shoot all dang day long. Whitney even put her dress back on for me. Ya gotta love brides and grooms that LOVE pictures!!!

Well, where do I begin? It was a FABULOUS day, wedding, family, wedding party, friends....I could go on and on and on. I have known Whitney for at least 4 years now and I adore her now even more than I did four years ago when I had the pleasure of shooting her sister Megan's wedding. Oh, and I still say I had a hand in bringing you two together. (wink) But I won't pat myself on the back or anything like that. LOL.
Whitney is simply so beautiful and her husband...WOW!!! The whole wedding party was just so very pretty. Easy on the eyes if yall know what I mean. Whitney for sure got her good looks honestly. Thank yall AGAIN, for being so good to us and for allowing us to be there once again. We had a blast...it was a GREAT party!!!
I have to give a few props ok?

Skopelos....yall know how much I love Nancy, Gus, Paul and all the gang there. Total attention to detail in every single way. Oh, and if you look closely you can see Kate (Paul's sister) in a few of the images. LOL

Flowers...the fabulous Faith at Southern Floral Traditions. Faith always goes all out and this wedding was no exception.

Music, ok this was the first time I heard this band and they were F A B U L O U S. I don't think anyone EVER left the dance floor. If anyone is in search of a band visit this website...www.wesloper.com SUPER kewl and very nice!!!

Strings were provided by the wonderful Jonathon Clark of Clark and Company...they also have a super kewl band too.

And ofcourse the FAMOUS Betty Weber. You should have seen those girls waiting for that cake. Everyone here knows how much I ADORE Betty....(she even sent me a mothers day card today) (wink) She is just a sweet as her cakes!!!! LOVE HER TO PIECES!!!

Then ofcourse me and Arlene were there for the photography!! We had a blast and everyone as usual was nice to us. Have yall seen that commercial...."like shooting fish in a barrell?" LOL, that is how this crowd was. SUPER FUN and easy to shoot.

Our Mom has always been the center of our household since our father’s work required him to be gone for days at a time. Mom never missed a dinner, practice, game, performance, or help with homework. Mom was always there to shelter and guide us with warm understanding and infinite patience. Mom was beside us through bruises, braces, and broken hearts. She is our best friend, advisor, protector, and gossip buddy. Mom has always instilled in us the importance of the little things in life: a smile, a thank you note, a positive attitude, a giving heart, and lifelong friendships. This past year our parent's marriage vow "in sickness and in health" has been tested. Our family could not have survived this roller coaster of a year with our father's sickness if it hadn't been for the strength and support of our mother. I Want to Give My Mommy a Family Portrait Contest
Picture this:
With a tattered pair of shoes and uniform a woman gets off of work at 5:00 pm after a 12 – hour shift to run home and pick up her two young children. She whisks them away and off to piano lessons, then ballet. Before heading home she makes a stop to buy her daughters each a new dress because tomorrow at school is picture day and she wants them to feel beautiful. At 9:00 pm (this has now been a 16 hour day) she settles her children home, makes them a homemade dinner, helps with homework, and still has enough time to sing them a song (James Taylor’s "You’ve Got a Friend") while they slip innocently into dreams.
Still, her day is not over. Exhausted she walks to sit at the dining room table and opens her books. She has decided to go back to school to get her college degree.
This pattern of selflessness does not end here; it continues throughout her daughters’ lives. Although my mother is not the only one who knows sacrifice on behalf of her children, this woman is a person of giving and never – ending strength. Coming from an underprivileged home in small town Florida, she promised herself that her children would never want. Giving her children everything they wanted, yet instilling an attitude of humility and gratefulness is, in itself, a miracle. Now, she watches as both of her children are strong, successful, and modest young women.
Patsy, my mother has never put herself before my sister or me. We never knew what it meant to "want". Sadly, my mother gave us these things at the cost of herself. For my wedding, I took her to get her hair dyed and a manicure / pedicure done for the first time in her life. Finding a dress for my mother to wear in my wedding was quite a challenge because every time we went somewhere to look, she drifted towards the ‘younger’ dresses commenting how I should try them on (Mom…we’re here for you. Remember???). Giving a new definition to the phrase "low – maintenance" my mother rarely lets us spoil her. This picture opportunity is a way to say ‘thank you’ to the greatest mother in the world because not only would the photos be taken by the greatest photographer ever (wink), but having her daughters sit next to her on a professional picture shoot would be her dream come true.

Where does the time go? I know I say that all the time but I swear Cannon has grown a foot since I just saw him last year. Heck, I don't think it has even been a year. As promised a small little glimpse of the VERY special love between Ashley and George. These two have been together since I shot Ashley's Sr pictures....well a few years ago. The day started out with clouds and rain and right before they said I do, the heavens opened up to a really pretty day. Really, there are not enough words to tell you how sweet this couple is. So it was a normal Saturday....me leaving EARLY to go to a wedding. I LOVE my weddings!!! But it seems like EVERY SINGLE Saturday I come home there is something NEW at my house. Moms, NEVER leave your boys OR husbands unattended. LOL. You just never know what you may come home to...besides a TOTAL mess. NO biggie there but look what I came home to today.

So yesterday...yes yall it was Thursday, I had the pleasure of shooting Tom and Emily's FABULOUS destination wedding. I had the FAMOUS, or should I say infamous Rae Leytham http://www.raeleytham.com/ with me. Tee hee, I think we had too much fun to call it work really. (wink)
Emily, Tom, their family and friends made us feel so VERY special. I have ADORED this couple since they walked through my doors a year ago. ADORE them I tell yall!! I had to throw a yall in there cuz I caught a little flack for mine and Rae's southern accent. Rae's is worse than mine though right Rae? Anyway, the wedding was simply perfect. Ok, it was hurricane force winds but it was PERFECT!!! I never have seen such love in one group. LOL, her Daddy said when they decided on a destination wedding they thought..."ok, 20-25 people" YEAH RIGHT!!! You can tell how totally loved this couple is as I think almost everyone they know was there. LOL.
I could go on and on but I am sure yall are just wanting to see some images right? So here are a VERY few images and then the NEXT post is another LONG slideshow to explain the day. Now once again, it is just a sample of the day. We have a LOT more images to go through and I promise it won't be long before they are ALL up.

Amanda and Bradley's FABULOUS wedding!!!

There are just no words to explain what a fabulous day it was. IN the next post is a VERY long slideshow to explain just some of the day. Amanda was simply stunning and Bradley...oh my, quite "the man". He is smart, FINE, and the boy can dance too. I mean what more could you want right? He ADORES my Amanda and she loves him more than words can say. You can tell when they look at each other. Is that corny? Yeah, probably, but who cares right? Amanda is as STUNNING as she is sweet. I feel so blessed that I was asked to shoot this fabulous wedding. I mean really, photographers were falling over themselves to shoot my Amanda. Just look at her.

I have to give a few shout outs.

Wedding...First Baptist Church downtown. Shirley was just perfect to work with as always.

Flowers and decorations...Fiore....I am sure I probably spelled that wrong. But oh my, the flowers and the details were WONDERFUL!!!

The ever famous Betty Weber. Ok, now I have been to a TON of weddings, and there is always left over cake. There was not one morsel of cake, heck there was no evidence that there was even a cake there. The guests were AMAZED as I am each week when I see Betty's cakes. And yall know me, I ALWAYS get a piece of cake for me and my B....well I waited to long. LOL.

Pensacola Country Club...I had not been here since BEFORE Ivan, but they are up and running and it is soooooooo pretty.

Nancy with Skopelos did EVERYTHING!!!! Talk about attention to detail. I love her to pieces and she was just so perfect.

Emerge was the band....too fun!!!! They had the crowd going from beginning to end.

My fabulous assistant Arlene Ludvigsen....yall know Arlene right? (wink) Everyone LOVES Arlene.

And then....oh my, the WONDERFULLY TALENTED Arielle Langhorne. She was my second shooter yesterday and this woman is truly amazing!!! She worked her tail off. Ok, so over and over again I hear..."my child is only 3 or 4 or whatever, he is not going to pose for you" I always say...GOOD!!! Kids are kids, let them be the way they want to be. I always love capturing them just like they are at whatever age. I mean, come on now, wouldn't you rather remember you children doing what they did at that age? Now don't get me wrong, I love some of the posing too but just look at this little guy....he had a blast!!! Ok, so I am going to have a little Patsy Brown contest. LOL. Mothers day is fast approaching and I know that being a Mom is better than ANYTHING in the world. I am so blessed by my two boys and I thank God EVERY SINGLE DAY for them. I love them more than life!!! I mean the best things are those made right? I LOVE that stuff they bring home from school, LOVE IT!!! But more than anything I would LOVE a FABULOUS image of me, my boys and my hot husband. My dear friends Rae and Wes will do a image for me anytime I ask...I know they will, the problem is....MY KIDS AND HUSBAND hate pictures. Well, B loves them but the other two....YEAH RIGHT!!!
So on to the point right? I am taking little essays from ANYONE who wants to enter the "I want to give my Mommy a family portrait" contest. I know, I know, not such a creative name for a contest but you get the message right? Kids can write me, Daddy's can write me, friends can write me...whoever wants to write me can write me. LOL. But....I want this little essay to be totally from the heart. I want you to tell me WHY your Mommy deserves the portrait session. Tell me how fabulous your Mommy is!!! FULL MOON!!!

Boy, if it is all true about crazy things going on during a full moon this weekend was no exception. My precious angel (Hayden) had a run in with a truck on his scooter. He is FINE, just some road rash and a sore head. He knocked off the side mirror of a truck....can we say FREAKED OUT MOTHER? Thank God he had his helmet on. And he did look both ways....cuz we preach it all the dang time. Poor baby, he has been a nervous wreck all day long!!! We won't even go into how INSANE his Mom was...ok, still is. Thank you Amy and Todd for understanding about resheduling your session. I owe yall BIG TIME!!! And I promise I will pay up!!! THANK YOU AGAIN, for understanding. Note to Moms. Just because you live in a cul de sac does not mean CRAZY people don't fly 90 to nothing by your house. UGHHHHHHH!!!! Ok, don't get me started.
Then yesterday at my wedding one of my WONDERFUL groomsmen fell off a step and broke his foot!! Or was it his ankle? Anyway, he made it just in time for the start of the wedding but it was a WILD day!!! Thank the Lord again that my wedding party and family were so totally awesome about the day. At the end of the day Alisha and Josh were married and the wedding was just BEAUTIFUL!!! This family is just so great, I can't even tell you. They are probably sitting in one of my favorite places...CABO right now, having a nice little cocktail and talking about the crazy things of the day. Did I mention Alisha had to buy ANOTHER veil THAT DAY because hers was ripped? But again, married, happy and I am sure having a blast in Cabo!!! Man, I am so jealous right now. LOL.

So how long does a full moon last? LOL. We are all safe and sound here at the office and the home of the Browns though so all is well....

Where in the heck to I begin? It called for rain all day yesterday but guess what? It just did not happen. It was a FABULOUS day for a FABULOUS wedding. These two and their families are simply the best!!! Sweet, fun, crazy WILD!!! Ok, I think that sums it up pretty well. Oh, I forgot.........SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE!!! I can think of one time in my career that people NEVER left the recepetion. This was the second time. LOL. And when I mean no one left I mean NO ONE LEFT!!! The dance floor was FULL all night of a lot of fun partying HAPPY people. I even got drug (is that the correct word, LOL) out on the floor a time or two. (wink) go figure right? I ADORE this couple and their families. Thank yall so much for being so wonderful.

I have to give a little shout out to the vendors that were there.

Clark and Company, a FABULOUS band. That I don't think EVER took a break for like 4 hours. They kept the party going that is for sure.

Ok, I hope yall don't mind me posting some personal stuff for a moment. This is my precious husband and his two best friends. Way back in the day when we met they were all roomates, you know before they got all old and married and had kids and all that. Ofcourse with them all being in the military they were spread out for a while. Two of them live REALLY close now...about a block away as a matter of fact and then one came back for a visit today. The one in the middle. So ofcourse I had to take a picture of the three of them. I only wish I had one of them way back when. Yall have no idea how wild that house they lived in was. It was like being in a house with the THREE STOOGES. Always pulling pratical jokes. You just never knew what would happen to you there. As a matter of fact they reminded me today of the time Lee handcuffed me to a tree on the coldest day of the year....cuz I DARED him too. Ok, I was also running my mouth and being a smarty pants. Go figure right? I thought I could take him. NOT!!!! Anyway, so this is Brownie (my hubby) Ratboy (Lee) and Doc (Bud) personally I think they are like wine....FINER with age!!! (wink)

So we were supposed to go to the beach today....but did anyone see the HUGE cloud over the beach? OMG, it was terrible!!! You could not even see the Beach Ball. LOL. So, we regrouped and went in town, only to have the cloud follow us, BUT with this super cute couple it did not matter. I mean really now, are they so cute? So I had the pleasure of photographing the Bailey family yesterday. Sooooo sweet, cute, pretty, loving....do I need to go on? Only one thing wrong....they made that PRECIOUS baby wear something with a GATOR on it. Can you even believe that? Good thing is Daddy is a Seminole so maybe MG will figure out right from wrong once he gets bigger right? (wink) He is VERY smart already so it won't take long. LOL. Oh, he is just so dang cute!!! I can't wait to see him again in a few months. GO NOLES MG!!!

So here they are. Alisha and Josh!!! How cute are they? The wedding will soon be here. April is just around the corner. Can you believe it? I have been waiting for this one for a LONG, LONG time and I just can't wait. It is at one of my favorite places to shoot where every single detail is met. We are doing the bridals Friday and I am so excited about seeing this dress I have heard so much about. Oh yeah, and I am MEGA jealous about their honeymoon. It is also at one of my favorite spots. We went to Cabo a few years ago and OMG, it was fabulous!!! I tried to talk these two into letting me go and capture all their special moments (wink) but Josh said no. Isn't that just so mean? LOL.

This wedding was full of FUN, CRAZY, SWEET people and we were just so happy to be a part of it. Joshua was a handsome thing as were all the men in his wedding party and Rachel and the girls....oh my....such class and beauty. Ok, so this was a short little session. Not the FULL blown engagement, but I think they turned out pretty cute anyway. Lacy and me...well we go WAY back. I ADORE her whole family,her Mommy is one of my DEAREST friends in the world... they are MY family!!! I can't believe that just a few short years ago I was doing Lacy's prom....and now she is getting married? OMG, I am old!!! There will be some tears at this wedding that is for sure. My B has a crush on her and well....so does my husband. LOL. Good thing I love them like my own huh? Chad, you are very lucky to be marrying into this family....oh wait....Ok, let's just say you are lucky. LOL. Actually I think Lacy is pretty dang lucky too. Love yall!!!

That's right!! This is Rae Leytham. I hacked into Patsy's blog because she doesn't want to pat her own back. One of her images won 9th place in the First Dance category for the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA) 4th quarter 2007 contest. She didn't even know she won!! I had to tell her. Ok, so it was pretty stinking cold yesterday so we had to cut this session short, but still....are these two babies too cute or what? Well, would you believe I almost canceled this shoot? It was today and let's face it yall, it was WINDY!!! But thanks to Katie and Tony's persistence the shoot was on and it was FABULOUS!!! I just do not know if I am going to be able to wait until their wedding in November. It is going to be FABULOUS!!! I mean how cute are these two? Just stunning right? They just interact so well with each other. It is easy to see why Tony is ALWAYS looking at Katie. OMG, she is soooooooo pretty!!!
Ok, Katie has probably checked this blog at least 5 times since 6:00 so on to the good stuff. (wink)

What a sweet wedding. Oh, and such sweet people. Kirk and Doreen tied the knot yesterday and now they are one big happy family. They were married in the sweetest church ever with just their closest friends and family. So, so sweet! Between them they have 3 beautiful girls that love them to pieces. Ok, so this time a little family trip. We have been all over the place this year, but this time we are taking the kids. Actually we are going with 7 kids. LOL. What are we thinking right? It is going to be a blast I know. We are going with very good friends and WE always have a great time. We are heading to Seed World....yeah, yeah I know, its Sea World, but my Hayden says seed world. I gotta keep him cute and sweet as long as I can right? Then off to Unverisal so B can see Barney. Poor Barney has no idea that my B is taller than he is. LOL

Ok, so we did things different this time. We did Marisa's bridals AFTER the wedding. It was fun, relaxed, COLD....(wink) But Marisa was a trooper and just like the wedding did a FABULOUS job. Her honey told me when she put the dress back on, all those feelings of seeing her the first time came swooping back. I just love him, is that the sweetest thing you have ever heard or what?

Oh man, I can't wait till March 8th. I can already tell this year is going to be fabulous!!! This couple was just too much fun. Up for anything and so easy to shoot!!! Josh had the kewlest car (from my era ya know) (wink) so ofcourse we had to take a few images with his little baby before he sells it. Yeah, yeah, sad I know. Oh and you should see Rach's ring. Zach is HOME!!!

So yesterday I had the pleasure of shooting a home coming. It was just so very sweet and I was all to happy to be able to do this for Laura, Zach and Lucas. Zach is one of our military heros that has been gone for 6 and 1/2 months. So when he left I guess Lucas was like 3 months old. Thanks goodness there were lots of images taken of this little one for Zach to see while he was away. I am sure Mommy showed him lots of images of Daddy too cuz he seemed to know just who he was. It was so precious!!! Zach was greeted by lots of folks when he arrived home but I think the most special one's was his loving wife and baby....Thanks yall for including me. God Bless you all!!!

So here they are C and C. I can't tell you what fun we had last night. I have known Casey's family for ....well a long time. I was so very happy that I was a part of this fabulous celebration. I love them like my own. Casey was as stunning as always and Charles quite the handsome man in uniform too. Yall know what a sucker I am for a man in uniform. (wink) The families were fabulous as were all the friends. They treated us like we were part of the family. I LOVE THAT!!! Thanks yall, it was a blast!!! Check back in about 6 weeks for all the images.

I am coming to England yall. Don't be thinking I won't be staying with yall. LOL.
