I already ADORE this couple!!!

So C and M are in from Texas just to meet me!!! Ok, ok, maybe not just for that, but I was so pleased to FINALLY meet them both!! They are PRECIOUS!!!! They are getting married in March and I am so happy I will be there for this wonderful union. They braved the cold, rain and well just down right ickiness (is that a word?) today to have a few engagement images made. They are totally fun to be around and I just cannot wait until their wedding. Let's keep in touch yall ok? Be careful heading back to TEXAS!! GO NOLES!!! (wink)

Kinda cool...

I just thought this was a kinda cool thing. My husband is retired military and I am always amazed at the stories he has and the things he has seen. From Dessert storm to just 4 years ago when he retired. But yet he never acts like he was some kind of hero or anything he always says..."it is just what we do" Well, to me it is a totally HUGE deal. I am very proud of him and his job and as always in amazement of what our troops do. So watch this little clip and maybe next time it will make you think....

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

So we are off to Stone Mountain, (ice skating and fun stuff for the kiddos) and to Mt. Airy, North Carolina for Christmas....family thing ya know? Mt. Airy is actually the place where Andy Griffith was filmed and all that stuff (Yes, that is Barney's car in this image, well, I think it is. They have a Floyd's barber shop, the Snappy diner, (FABULOUS PORK CHOP BISCUITS THERE) and Opey's candy shop too...Hayden's personal favorite. (wink) Tons of things to do....(insert sarcastic tone here) But my inlaws live there and me, hubby and my precious boys are going for Christmas!! I hope we see some snow but it is not looking to promising. If ya need me please do contact me on my cell. I will not have a whole lot of access to email but promise to do the best I can.

Ashley and George are getting married!!!!

I am totally in love with this couple. But not as much as they are in love with each other. (wink) Ashley and George are just the sweetest couple, and so precious together. I just cannot wait till their wedding in May. Ashley and I go way back and once again I am sooooooooo happy she remembered me when she got engaged. I just love that. Merry Christmas yall. What is your most FAVORITE Christmas show?

Ok, so I went shopping for the FIRST time today...UGHHHHHHHHHH, I just may be the ONLY woman in the WORLD who HATES to shop. Thank the Lord you can shop online. Anyway, everything is soooooooo commercial now. Now don't get me wrong I LOVE giving gifts. LOVE IT!!!! But please let us all remember the TRUE meaning of Christmas. That is why I started this little thread...this is my FAVORITE Christmas time show....for one because it does tell us the true meaning of Christmas and for the other....Charlie Brown (no relation I don't think) picks the most awful tree on the lot, the one noone wanted....the one they said would never grow, or thrive, or even live...Ok, my friends KNOW who and what I am talking about...so I will stop there. I am a VERY blessed Mommy and I thank GOD every day of my life.

Look who is turning ONE!!!

Oh my heavens I can hardly believe this little one is turning one. It makes me sad. (wink) He is just so precious and sooooooooooo easy going. I have never in my life seen anything like it. Just as perfect as he can be. The whole year I have been taking his pictures he has NEVER cried!!! It figures though cuz his Mommy and Daddy are pretty dang KEWL too. Love them to pieces. We also got some Santa Hat stuff...but I can't show them all right Mom? (wink)

Check out these two BEAUTIFUL GIRLS!! What great daughters huh? This is one of the things they are getting their Mom and Dad for Christmas. Now what Mom and Dad would not love pictures of their children!! We had a great time today. Maybe one day I will be shooting their weddings? (wink) You just never know right? LOL. Would ya just look at this beautiful blue eyes!!! I mean really now, they are BLUE!!! This was just the most precious family. Everyone warmed up to me right away. I always just love that. (wink) Me and A are going to be great friends I just know. Thanks Mom, you're children are simply stunning!!!

So today is Saturday. Someone please tell me, what does a wedding photographer do with a Saturday off? I was very confused all day long. The boys went away and left me in my house all by myself all day long....I was so upset...NOT!!! But then they came back. LOL. So again, what do wedding photographers do on a Saturday off? Well, this was pretty much it....(wink)

The beach was calm, the light was great and the people....whoaaaaaaaa. We had to much fun today.
